Phlebodium Aureum is a gorgeous evergreen fern that is the only species of Phlebodium that can be found in North America. This plant is known by a multitude of names including “Golden Polypody”, “Golden Serpent Fern”, Cabbage Palm Fern”, “Gold-Foot Fern”, and Hare-Foot Fern.
Though Phlebodium Aureum has earned itself a variety of nicknames, it is most commonly referred to as the “Blue-Star Fern”.
The Blue-Star Fern thrives in moist soil that mimics its tropical home. This plant requires that you water it 1-2 times per week, or when the soil feels dry to the touch. Though it's important to keep the soil moist, the Blue Star Fern is also susceptible to root rot, so make sure you don't over-water.
In the wild, this plant is found in the shade of tropical overgrowth, so it's best to keep your Phlebodium Aureum in indirect sunlight.
Blue-Star Ferns are non-toxic and make a pet-friendly addition to your collection.
These plants are widely appreciated for their beauty but are famous for their ability to act as a natural air filter and are often kept as indoor plants for this specific purpose.
If you are looking to enhance your home or office space with fresh air and tropical beauty, Phlebodium Aureum is an excellent choice of fern.

of the 4 Plantquility plants that were just delivered, this one sits nearest to me in my home office and is already a good green friend. All 4 were packed perfectly and are thriving. I couldn't be happier with my purchases. Thank you, Plantquility!
My girlfriend was so appreciative when I gave her this plant instead of flowers on her birthday. I mean flowers die after a week and this will actually last for her to enjoy.
